Chapel with Rabbi RussellReady your voices and spirit for the High Holy Days by sitting and singing together. We will learn new melodies and sing familiar ones. Join us to open your heart and sing! We will be together for an hour.
*Minyan will happen at regular time: 6:00-6:15 p.m. We will transition from singing to traditional minyan, back to singing. You are welcome to join for some or all of the experience.
This session is not meeting on September 1 — come just for minyan!

Conscious Community: Engaging the Inner Work of Elul Together

Virtual on Zoom with Rabbi RichmanThis Elul, we’ll learn passages from R. Kalmonymus Kalman Shapira’s inspirational work, Bnei Machshava Tovah, through Andrea Cohen-Kiener’s translation, Conscious Community, and the original Hebrew text. Together, we’ll consider how to balance our commitments to the people and work in our lives with our spiritual pursuits.

Saturday, September 5 in the evening
Congregation Beth SholomJoin us in changing the Torah covers to white as part of our spiritual journey toward the Days of Awe. Afterwards we will move through some of the traditional melodies of Selichot, with the intention of readying ourselves for the holy days ahead.
