Who is Youngish? All are welcome!

Youngish at Congregation Beth Sholom is a group of adults in their 20s to early 40s who meet 1-2 times a month around programming tailored to catalyze social relationships, strengthen Jewish identities, and build community. We are not defined by age, rather stage. We are young, Jewish professionals who are defined by a desire to schmooze, learn, drink, eat, and be together.

Youngish events include opportunities to spend time with other Bay Area Jews in meaningful ways. Examples include monthly Happy Hours, holiday events, Shabbat dinners, yoga, and book clubs. Youngish is inclusive and vibrant. Members are encouraged to be themselves while deepening their connection to Judaism.

We’re committed to serving the needs of this community and making YOU a vital part of our intergenerational congregation.

Youngish is a discounted monthly membership plan for individuals or couples that is meant to give a cost-effective way to get to know our congregation, our clergy, our programming, and most importantly each other. If you are a family with young children, your participation in our Youngish events is welcomed and encouraged, though this discounted membership is reserved for individuals and couples without children.
