  • Learning Session with Rabbi Richman

    Tuesday, August 18th
5:45 p.m. — Elul Niggunim with Rabbi Russell
    6:00 p.m. — evening minyan
~6:15/6:30 p.m. — Discussion and BYO vegetarian dinner with Rabbi Richman

Immediately before the 6:00 p.m. minyan, Rabbi Russell will guide us to ready our voices and spirit for the High Holy Days by sitting and singing together. We will learn new melodies and sing familiar ones.

After minyan, the HaMerkaz community will gather with Rabbi Richman for Torah study and personal reflection to prepare for the High Holidays. The Talmud famously teaches that when we die, we are asked six questions. In this session, we will look at these questions and use them to reflect on our lives as they are and as they might be. A great way to get ready spiritually for the High Holidays!
