CHESED V’TZEDEK

Please join us in expressing our Jewish values of chesed (loving kindness) and tzedek (justice) through ACTION, while building community, learning, and having fun.

Our Chesed v’Tzedek Committee meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. to plan food drives, educational opportunities, and community events. We would love to have you be a part of our communal effort to give back and make positive change.

  • Hanukkah Donation Drive

    Hanukkah is almost here and Beth Sholom's Chesed v’Tzedek Committee is celebrating by gathering toys, blankets and men’s coats for those in need!

    Jewish Family and Children’s Services is hosting a toy drive — collecting gift cards, Lego sets, Hot Wheels track sets, girls’ fleece robes, backpacks, and other assorted new toys and gifts.

    The San Francisco Gubbio Project is requesting blankets, men’s coats, pants (slim) and large t-shirts in excellent condition. 

    Items can be brought to the synagogue office now through December 21st.
