Sydney Jason’s Bat Mitzvah

Hello, my name is Sydney Jason. I am in eighth grade and go to AP Giannini. Some more about me — I live with my Mom, Dad, Sister, and dog. I live in the sunset and enjoy spending time with friends, dancing, singing, and acting. 

It was a really interesting experience to study Torah leading up to this and I feel like I learned a lot. I will be reading from Parashat Breshit, which is our creation story! I really enjoyed learning more about a story I thought I knew by heart, and I am excited to share what I have learned. 

I would like to thank Rabbi Russel and Marilyn Heiss, for helping me work towards this milestone. I do not know what I would do without your guidance. I would also like to thank everyone here for being with me on my special day.
