Louis Van Nguyen Glantz’s Bar Mitzvah

Louis Van Nguyen Glantz will be celebrating his Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 10, 2025. He will be reading the Torah portion Acharet-Mot/Kedushim.

Louis’s family has been attending services at Beth Sholom for four generations, and he enjoys attending Shabbat morning service with his family.

In his free time, Louis enjoys crafting and doing art. His favorite place to shop is SCRAP, a “creative reuse center,” where you can turn used items into new creations.  He likes spending time with his family, and loves the movie Coraline. He attends Aptos Middle School.

Louis would like to thank his teachers, his tutor, Marilyn Heiss, and Rabbi Amanda Russell for guiding him through the Bar Mitzvah process, and helping him write hisD’varTorah. He would like to thank all of his family and friends who have helped make this journey possible.
