Ellianah Rose Ratner's Bat Mitzvah

Ellianah Rose Ratner will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, February 4. She is looking forward to reading from parsha B'shalach, and to the hot dog Kiddush, afterwards.

Ellie's great-great-grandparents were members of Congregation Beth Sholom, and Ellie has been a regular since her first birthday. Ellie attends The Brandeis School of San Francisco and still reminisces about her years at the Beth Sholom preschool and her wonderful teachers there.

Ellie has eclectic tastes. She loves good books, classic movies, and musical theater. She also likes graphic novels, the Twilight movies, and boba tea. Her latest pursuits are embroidery and learning how to make risotto.

Ellie would like to thank her fantastic Bat Mitzvah tutor, Marilyn Heiss, and Rabbi Russell for helping with her D'var Torah. She would also like to thank all her teachers at CBS Preschool and SF Brandeis for helping her get to this day.
