Daniel Crosby’s Bar Mitzvah

Hello, my name is Daniel Crosby. I am in 8th grade at A.P.G middle school. I have been at Beth Sholom my whole life and am very thankful for their education and for helping to shape the Jewish part of my life. Some activities I enjoy include reading, listening to podcasts, playing Magic the Gathering, drawing, playing D&D and practicing my martial art Tang Soo Do. I also attend a Habonim Dror overnight camp called Gilboa.

My parsha is Shoftim which translates to judges/officials and is mostly about rules and laws. I find this parsha interesting because it kind of gets overlooked because of ‘tzedek, tzedek’ — ‘justice, justice.’ There are many other good things to write about but people usually choose ‘justice, justice.’
