Camp Jones Gulch is located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Beth Sholom, a beautiful drive down Highway 1 — or save 5–10 minutes and take 280. The camp is nestled in a beautiful redwood and douglas fir forest.

  • What will we do?

Program planning is underway! You can expect meaningful prayer options, a lively talent show, delicious s’mores and engaging activities for a range of ages and interests.

  • What will it cost?

Pricing is being finalized. We are looking to make this opportunity available to all members who wish to participate.

  • Where will we sleep?

We will have dormitory-style cabins with twin-sized bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Cabins have ample outlets and heat and a/c. Cabins sleep 10–18 people please consider others you would like to bunk with. Tent camping is also available.

  • Where will we eat?

Meals will be served in the dining hall and prepared by the site staff. To best meet the needs of our community, all the food will be vegetarian or parve. Special diets can be accommodated with prior notice. Please note that the Camp Jones kitchen is not a kosher kitchen.

  • Can I come for the day only?

We plan to have a day-only option in the registration. If this interests you please let us know on the survey.

  • Are there accommodations for limited mobility?

There are ADA accessible cabin accommodations. However, the surrounding grounds can be uneven and some are unpaved. For instance, the dining hall is a short walk from the cabins with some unpaved areas. If you’re considering coming and have mobility concerns please reach out to Wendy at wendycown@gmail.com to discuss.

  • What’s the weather like?

Layers are your friend. The coastal environment is mild throughout the year. In early springtime there are generally warm days followed by a little chill at night
