According to Judaism, the soul is eternal, never born and never dying. For half an hour each Shabbat afternoon, we will read, think, and enter into lively discussion about how our souls are implicated in our everyday lives, our relationships and our journey after death. Texts will be studied in English.

Rabbi Pam Frydman Baugh is a Jewish renewal rabbi and member of Congregation Beth Sholom. She was founding rabbi of Or Shalom Jewish Community in San Francisco, she is a founding leader in OHALAH, an international trans-denominational association of Jewish Renewal rabbis and cantors and she is presently working on a book on the Holocaust.
