On Thursdays, 2nd and 7th grades will meet, with 2nd graders ending at 5:30 p.m. and 7th graders ending at 6:30 p.m. This Religious School Calendar has tentative dates for the 2011-2012 year.
School begins at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday mornings and continues until 12 p.m. During that time, all classes participate in tefillah (prayers), Hebrew and Torah education, and music and/or art. The youngest students begin the day with tefillah, and parents are encouraged to stay with their children for this part of the morning. Tefillah is usually led by our teachers and includes prayers, song, and a story.
The 3rd through 7th grade students participate in a student-led tefillah. Each week a different group of students prepares and leads a full morning service.
