Congregation Beth Sholom-A San Francisco Jewish Conservative Synagogue
Holidays

Read on about the various holidays throughout the year and also gain a glimpse into celebrating them with that certain je ne sais quoi Beth Sholom way.

Beth Sholom follows Conservative Jewish practice and spices it up with the unique spirit of the Beth Sholom community. We have a full calendar of services and celebrations. Each holiday has special programs developed for adults and for children.

Jewish Holidays follow an arc of spiritual passage through the year. Along the way each holiday focuses on issues of letting go of old ways of thinking and acting in our lives, heightening our attention to our own daily lives, or bringing about personal renewal.

Here are the services and rituals for the holidays at Beth Sholom throughout the year. Click on any one of them for additional information. Click here for the entire calendar Events Calendar.
