El Malei Rachamim: the memorial prayer, asking God to shelter the soul of the deceased "on the wings of God's Divine Presence".
Kaddish: Ancient prose-poem in Aramaic repeated many times during a regular prayer service. "Saying Kaddish" usually refers to its repetition by mourners ("Mourner's Kaddish").
Kiddush: Festive snack following services; sporting, semi-chaotic rush for cookies. Everyone wins when there's cookies.
Yahrzeit: Anniversary of a person's death (in Yiddish).
