Shabbat and Holiday Programs for Kids
At Beth Sholom, children and families are an integral part of ourcommunity. We plan many events around the Jewish holidays and Shabbatto educate and entertain-and to introduce our congregants to oneanother.

PJ Shabbat and PJ Havdallah
Held once-monthly where preschool-aged children and their families cometo a special Shabbat service dressed in PJ's. In the winter months wemeet on Saturday evening to learn about Havdallah (a ceremony markingthe end of Shabbat); during the spring and summer we come together onFriday nights to welcome Shabbat. Services are led by Rabbi Micah Hyman, Rabbi Aaron Philmus and musical guests. Singing, dancing, art projects, and potluck dinnersare all part of the fun.

The High Holidays are a very special time for kids here at BethSholom. Our popular Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur program includesstories, games, learning and community-building, giving kids a greatholiday experience and parents an opportunity to participate in ourother services. Holy Days are a great time to be a kid at Beth Sholom!
