B'nai Mitzvah Family Education
The bar/bat mitzvah is not only a time for the student; it is a special time for the entire family. To make this a time of learning and excitement for the whole family, we have developed a B'nai Mitzvah Family Education Program. At these sessions, which meet once a month from October to May. The rabbi teaches on various topics of interest for the bar/bat mitzvah students and their families.

Sessions include the following topics: The Meaning of Mitzvah, Jewish Communal Prayer, Shabbat Morning Service, Kriat HaTorah (Public Torah Service); Talmud Torah (Torah study), Mitzvah and Tzedakah Projects, and Tallit and Tefillin.

Please note the class is held on Sunday mornings at the Beth Sholom. For specific starting times, please contact Batshir Torchio at BTorchio@bethsholomsf.org.
